This blend is equally split between mountain and hillside vineyards in Santa Barbara and Monterey. Only the best 3% of the fruit from designated Grand Reserve vineyard blocks are selected for this wine which is primarily aged in French oak for 8 months of which a third is in new barrels. The wine is stirred on its lees to add a soft creamy body.
