Jess Jackson bought the Edmeades Estate in 1988 and since then has established an outstanding reputation for the wines. In Mendocino County and at over 500m the Ciapusci vineyard was originally planted in 1878 and is the oldest in Mendocino. Some of the vines are over 100 years old and the wine is aged in oak for 16 months.
