Like the other wines in the "Duke's" range this is a young 3 year old blend that spent 3 months being gently heated and cooled in large temperature controlled vats known as estufas prior to further ageing in American oak. This gives these Madeiras the baked fruit character that makes them so individual in the world of wine.
