This wine is produced from the versatile Tinta Negra Mole variety that is used for making the young blended wines in the "Dukes" range. "Dry" is a relative term as it does have a residual sweetness to counter-balance the fresh acidity. The wine was allowed to ferment for longer so more sugar turned into alcohol before fortification with grape spirit. A delightful aperitif style.
