Barone Ricasoli, a name that has been synonymous with wine since 1141 is located in Chianti Classico region, Tuscany Italy. Barone Bettino Ricasoli began his research in Brolio to produce outstanding wine from the Chianti Classico region and was regarded as a far-sighted entrepreneur and promoter of Chianti wines. Today Francesco Ricasoli continues the pursuit to produce great wines from Brolio. It is the largest winery in the Chianti Classico region with over 240 hectares of vineyard. Francesco Ricasoli has been at the helm of the family business since 1993 and has renewed the quality and personality of great Brolio wines, experimenting and making the most of the unique characteristics of the land and its history.
