Domaine William Fèvre owns 48 hectares of vineyard in Chablis, but notably 15% of all the Grand Cru vineyard sites. In 1998 the Domaine was bought by Joseph Henriot, owner of the Henriot Champagne house. Henriot has been single-minded in his aim to produce wines that are the finest expression of the vineyard's terroir. Fèvre own vineyards in all seven of the Grand Crus and also in seven Premier Cru sites, so the most exacting detail must go into the winemaking to ensure that the subtle nuances between each vineyard are captured in the wines.
