Since Etienne Guigal arrived in the region in 1923, the Guigal family and their wines have become legendary. They are indisputably regarded as the best producers in the Rhône valley, indeed Etienne's son, Marcel, has often been cited as the best winemaker in the world! The famous Côte-Rôtie growths of La Mouline, La Turque and La Londonne are some of the most highly sought after, collectable and expensive wines in the international market, but the high quality of all their wines shines through the whole range. As the business and tradition is passed down to Marcel's son, Philippe, another generation of the family ensures this legacy will continue.
